I talked with professor Bill Purse from Duquesne University about Guitar Day with Joe Negri: A Guitar and Bass Workshop that happened on July 21st, 2018. Pittsburgh guitarist Joe Negri presented his master class in the Pappert Center for Performance and Innovation at the Mary Pappert School of Music at Duquesne University. Pittsburgh Mayor Bill Peduto was in attendance at the event to present Mr. Negri with a proclamation and a key-to-the-city in honor of his 45 years of service as a faculty member at the music school.

WQED-FM has a series called ‘Performance in Pittsburgh’ that features music from concerts performed around the city. I put together a show based on a recording that WQED received. The organ recital was a part of the ‘Summer Series of Organ Concerts’ at Saint Paul Cathedral in Pittsburgh during the summer of 2017. This organ recital featured organist Nicholas Will. The concert was recorded by David Hoffman.
